I've coached many Christians in network
marketing. There are many reasons for this, but the overall
attraction is most likely that the values of network marketing (when
done well) line up with Biblical teachings and principles.
I'm going to break a standard rule in society
that encourages us not to mix "politics or religion" with
business. So - please be advised that if discussions in the
religious arena upset or offend, simply jump off this page now! These
thoughts are intended for sincere believers in Jesus who are serious
network marketers. If you are devoted to the Lord and wanting to
bring FREEDOM into your life, family, or community - I trust these
discussions will help you.
Why is this important? As a committed,
Holy Spirit led Christian anything that you set out to accomplish
must line up with Biblical values and ethics. If you are involved
with something that leaves doubt or questions in your mind or heart,
that internal conflict or wrestling will undermine your ability to
achieve success - the joyful, long-term, clear conscience success that
will lead to true FREEDOM.
As we look at "Christian MLM" or
"Christian network marketing," there are many thoughts
about Jesus and the Bible that simply are inaccurate from my point of
view - that is why I decided to take this thread to my blog site to
share my perspectives.
http://www.internetworkmarketingtraining.com
My main goal in doing this is to share TRUTH to
other Spirit led believers whom God has called into this industry.
The blog venue will also make it possible for those who have insight,
or a different point of view to share it there. (It
is not intended or will tolerate those who want to argue or are
hostile towards Christianity or religion.)
Having been in full time ministry most of my
adult life, but also engaged in business - has given me a perspective
and passion to see everyone fulfill their destiny - especially
those called into the business world. Even as a full time pastor I
would preach often: "We are all called into full time
ministry, regardless of where we get our paycheck!"
We will address many questions such as:
"Is it OK to want to get rich?"
"Can I do business with unbelievers?"
"How do I handle the hype of my
company or this industry?"
"My upline promotes some shady
practices, what do I do?"
"My spouse (or other family members)
are not supportive of my involvement in mlm, how do I handle this?"
"How can network marketing can help
fulfill the Great Commission and build the Kingdom of God?"
"Can the gifts of the Holy Spirit be
used in my business?"
These issues, and many others, will be shared
from a Christian perspective.
